Prandini really lit up that 3rd leg. Exploded out of the box. She should be the anchor. Good luck at Puma Jen! Get ready for the Olympics. You're going.

Congrats Lindsey out of Harvard and Oregon. I'm sure the wet was a plus for your breathing. It's the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture.

Providence College's Emily Sisson!!! First American and first NCAA runner to finish. Probably a top-5 all-time NCAA performance at 8.52.60, an 8+ second PR for Em. She ran her own race, literally last in the early laps, about a 9.10 pace at the half-way mark, and then a beautiful negative split with a killer final lap. Just 11 seconds off Sally K!
Rutgers Law's Ashley Higginson also went sub-9, the second American to finish. She's ready to begin her Steeple season, and has really developed a much stronger finishing kick thanks to these indoor events she has loaded up on in the last year.

Great race by Emily, would have loved to see her and the other runners finish instead of seeing the winner receiving her flowers.

Wow. What a treat to see Allison vaulting again. Watched her first at Ca State Meets, then she went to Berkeley. Probably one of the most photographed California athletes ever, and now she's done a deal with Go-Pro. Smart move young lady!

The "Dynamic Duo" from Stanford. Been watching Jessica at Mt SAC since her high school days. One of the all-time greats who would travel all the way from Arizona to run in our big California races.

I love seeing Alberto in the background. Great coach who keeps everything pointed in the right direction for these amazing runners.
